Kailynn Williams

Kailynn Williams is a Purpose Fellow at Carol Cone ON PURPOSE, where she supports research, writing, and storytelling that help organizations embed purpose and sustainability into their business and policy strategies. A proud Southern belle from Louisiana, Kailynn brings a grounded, community-centered perspective to her work, shaped by firsthand experience at the intersection of environmental systems, public health, and equity.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Urban Forestry, Environmental Science, and Natural Resources, where her academic and fieldwork focused on the role of environmental stewardship in strengthening policy equity, community resilience, and well-being. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainability Management at Columbia University as an HBCU Fellow, with a focus on corporate sustainability, ESG strategy, and purpose-driven leadership.
Kailynn’s experience spans sustainability research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications across corporate, nonprofit, and community contexts. She is particularly passionate about translating complex sustainability challenges into clear, compelling narratives that drive action, accountability, and measurable impact. At CCOP, she is excited to contribute to purpose-led strategies that create value for businesses while advancing positive outcomes for people and the planet.
