Kaitlin Castor

Kaitlin’s professional career is grounded in advancing sustainable solutions, inspired by a lifelong passion for the outdoors. She takes a holistic approach to align environmentally and socially responsible practices for various sectors, with experience conducting complex research, translating technical information into actionable insights, and fostering innovative discussions with stakeholders.
She will earn her Master of Environmental Science and Management from the UC Santa Barbara Bren School in 2026, specializing in Business and Sustainability with foci in Environmental Communication and Environmental Innovation, and currently working on a project centered around California’s Responsible Textile Recovery Act. Kaitlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity from the University of California, Davis (2023).
Beyond her professional career, Kaitlin’s wanderlust is her biggest inspiration and she enjoys spending time on the slopes, in the ocean, or somewhere in between.
